Designer's Fit Guide:
Designed to fit like an authentic ’90s baseball jacket, this piece features a silhouette with a slightly cropped body and room through the chest, sleeves, and shoulders. The fit is intentionally structured in bold proportions to reflect the classic aesthetic of the Starter jackets from the era. Arms and shoulders are wide without clinging, and delivers that unapologetic throwback feel. The length is shorter than standard jackets.
Based on your normal size, women tend to wear their usual size and men prefer to size up one size. Sehrish is 5'3 wearing Medium in editorial.
Garment Details:
• Satin Body. Color: Navy
• Mid-weight 44oz shell
• Snap Buttoned Front Closure
• Embroidery & Chain Stitching
• Striped Ribbing
• Quilted Inner Lining
• Designed in U.S. and Made in Pakistan
• Unisex.
Our chain-stitched embroidery is intentionally crafted with a soft, dimensional finish. Because the thread sits raised on the surface and carries natural fiber texture, it creates a soft halo with the edges appearing slightly fuzzy rather than perfectly sharp. This isn’t a flaw, but a designer detail — a hallmark of authentic chain stitching and gives the piece depth and a hand-made character of which Pakistan is known for.

The Story:
The earliest Pakistani community in the United States was established in the city of New York. Specifically, the neighborhood of Jackson Heights in the borough of Queens became one of the first centers for the Pakistani-American community. Also adopted by South Asians from India and Bangladesh, the earliest wave of Pakistani immigrants arrived in the 1950s and 1960s, making Jackson Heights a hub where they could find familiar cultural resources, establish businesses, get affordable housing, and build social networks with a supportive environment.
Most of the early Pakistani immigrants to New York were professionals and students pursuing higher education in fields such as engineering, medicine, and business. They saw the United States, and specifically New York, as a place where they could gain valuable knowledge and experience at a country that promised freedoms and a better life for their families.
Despite challenges, the early Pakistanis, like other immigrants alike, paved the way for future generations of Pakistani immigrants, shaping the history and growth of the Pakistani-American community in New York.
