Story:
In Lahore, Pakistan, the Royal Palm Golf & Country Club is located on the site of the former Pakistan Railways Golf Club which was founded in 1927. The club attracts local and international golfers boasting meticulously maintained fairways, picturesque setting, and luxurious amenities.
At that time, Lahore was a vibrant city with a large British expatriate community. These expatriates had a strong affinity for golf and desired a place where they could indulge in their favorite sports from Britain. It was in response to this need that golf clubs started to be established in Pakistan.
